This two-day MSP Foundation Course provides participants with a thorough understanding of the Managing Successful Programs (MSP®) program management methodology, providing the skills needed to confidently use MSP to manage programs in line with strategic aims of a business and the its day-to-day running.
Delivered by fully accredited trainers and industry leading experts who have extensive experience using MSP, the course includes a relevant, modern case study to help delegates understand how to apply the MSP way of managing programs in the real world. There is also plenty of opportunity for participants to present their exercise results and discuss them with the rest of the class, thus gaining further knowledge from many different points of view, in many different industries.

Defining a good vision statement
Creating a Brief of the Program and securing the mandate
Developing a Blueprint from the Vision Statement
Defining the Program and its projects, timeline, costs and benefits
Develop and maintain a Program Plan, Projects Dossier, and manage resources
Linking to strategic goals and planning how to realize benefits
Setting up the program organization and a Program Office
Develop and manage a business case througout the program
Analyzing and engaging with stakeholders
Coordinate and manage the program's projects, ensuring they are fit for purpose
Ensure quality and assure management that value is achieved
Proactively manage risks and resolve issues
Understand Program Management and the MSP® concepts and terms, including the principles, process model and governance themes of MSP®.
Sit the MSP® Foundation exam and achieve the MSP® Foundation certificate.
Draft a Program Brief and Vision Statement, propose a Program Organization structure, engage with stakeholders at all levels and apply progress control mechanisms. Understand the vision and the blueprint, the principles of program level quality and risk management and the importance of configuration management.
